I'm John Adams and I'd like to welcome you to my memorabilia site.

I've always been into photography and since being taken to the 1968 British GP at Brands I became more and more interested in racing and photography : 2 interests that go particularly well together!After moving to Japan in 1987 I started to collect all kinds of memorabilia,especially photographic material and event posters.I noticed that the Japanese were not keeping any of their own memorabilia and I made a big effort to collect the posters for the races taking place at Suzuka,Fuji Speedway,Sendai,Aida,etc,etc.This led to my hobbies becoming a business and in 1993 we opened our first F1 and Classic car goods shop in Tokyo.We moved to larger premises 3 years later,and this business continued until we returned to the UK in 2004.(We are now based in my home town of Cambridge).

The photo archive starts  around 1958 and continues to this year.The 1960s were perhaps the Golden Era of British Motorsport,and this period is particularly well covered.If you are looking for F1,GT,Sports cars,Le Mans,Touring Car images,etc,please do get in touch.We can supply individual prints or reasonable rates for writers,publishers and other media outlets needing a fresh image.We are not a big photo library,but we do have some fine and largely unseen material
